1 / Nominees must be members of the Dallas Bar Association who are or have been, for a significant portion of their career a practicing attorney or member of the judiciary, and who are highly respected in the legal profession.
2 / Nominees must be recognized by their peers as having made an extraordinary contribution to the legal profession through their professional achievements in an area of law.
3 / Nominees must also have adhered to the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession while adhering to the highest ethical standards.
4 / A factor that will be considered in the selection process is the nominee’s service to the legal profession and community.
5 / Being a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation is not a prerequisite for nomination, but it is a factor that may be considered in the selection process.
6 / Nominations should include a letter of recommendation that includes a discussion of the contributions the nominee has made to the profession of law and the practice of law. Contributions to and involvement in the bar, legal professional associations and the community are valued.
